V pátek 26. února 2010 šli studenti 4AL do Amerického centra diskutovat s Davidem Gainerem, kulturním atašé USA v České republice. Před jeho příchodem měli možnost pohovořit ještě s Danem z Massachusetts, který přijel do naší vlasti poznávat její krásy a učit angličtinu.

On 26th February 2010, our class visited the U.S. Embassy in Prague. We all really appreciated the programme – firstly, we had an informal discussion with an American teacher and musician Daniel from Boston, Massachusetts. Daniel amazed us with his sense of humour and witty comments.
Later David Gainer, the cultural attaché, finally arrived and started his speech. Then he divided us into five groups and an exciting discussion had begun. Our main topic was the school system and education in the United States. In the 45 minutes, David Gainer answered our questions and then, unfortunately, he had to leave.
We were pleased that during the brake our guide, the librarian of the American Center Miloš Dlabal, offered us delicious coffee and fresh water. Our visit ended at the library of the American Center, where we got a lot of useful materials about the US.
It was absolutely worth going to the American Center, and also a great opportunity for us to get interesting information and meet important American people.
